How to set up • Design your website • Go to http://www.google.com/analytics • Login with google ID or make an new account
How to set up (continued) • Where to put the code? • Copy the following code, then paste it onto every page you want to track immediately before the closing </head> tag. • For dynamic pages, you can use a common include or a template to paste the code. • For any PHP pages, put the following code in a file (for example, analyticstracking.php) and upload it to your site. Then, add the following line to each template page immediately after the opening <body> tag: <?php include_once("analyticstracking.php") ?>
