  1. STUDENT LED CONFERENCES • BY:JULIA KIEHLE

  2. Cover Letter • Throughout 8th grade science you learn about many different topics about Earth. There are many subjects inside the Earth topic, but the one I like the most is the minerals unit. I liked that unit the most because it had a lot to do with identifying and observing, which is a hands on activity. My all time favorite thing about science class is making videos. I feel like kids in our generation are more about computers and technology. The thing I dislike the most about science is the 60 second sciences. I don’t think these help me or benefit me because some of the researches are not the most interesting.

  3. Ability to complete assignments • I would give myself a 4 because I turn in most of my assignments. I feel like I turn in all my small assignments in on time. Although, the larger assignments I try to make them the best I can but there just isn’t enough time.

  4. Class Effort • I would give myself a 5 for class effort because I contribute a lot to the discussions. When we are talking in class I am always contributing and giving my opinion.

  5. Abilities to work with others • I would give my self a 5 for working with others because I have had success this year. Our previous project we had to work in a group and we got our project done on time and done correctly.

  6. Improvement • 5 being the best, I feel like reading my textbook would be the one thing I need to work on. I usually read my textbook, but I am not comprehending the material as well as I should.

  7. What went well? • I would give myself a 5 because overall I had a good year. I got good grades and I feel like I am ready to take on high school next year.
