  1. STUDENT LED CONFERENCES

  2. What have you found challenging about science this year? I found the body unit hard because of all of the words that we had to remember and the functions and parts. Also the tests were hard because they required a lot of studying. For example, sometimes I have studied for hours on days leading up to the test so I could get a good grade one them. I found the last unit especially hard because we did not get a review to go over and study off of.

  3. What have you done to overcome these challenges? I have made flash cards and countlessly gone over them one by one each day when I get home from school. Also I study on Quizlet because you can find about any study set you want to on there. It helps you by playing games, flash cards and even has “Learn mode” where they go through the words with you. I have found this helpful for studying all subjects.

  4. What has been your favorite activity in science this year? My favorite activity has been the project where we got partners and worked on a sport or leisure activity that you had to move your body in. I did soccer and it turned out good. It was a video and a written presentation that I wrote on a couple of pieces of paper. It has the parts of the three body systems we choose too. It showed me passing, juggling and playing around with the soccer ball.

  5. What is your personal goal in science for the rest of the school year? Why? My goal is to do great on all my tests and remember to turn in all my homework and do all of my homework. Also I would like to be more organized. This is a good goal for me because my locker is very messy and I could easily lose a science paper in there. Also I would like to do good on all my tests so I can get all A’s on my report card and so I will like science more. Additionally, I would like to remember my homework because that would help raise my grade not lower it.

  6. What science activity would you like to share with your parents and why? I would like to share with them my gravity cruiser because my group and I put tons of effort into it and worked very hard on it all day during science class. Also we almost made it into the second round but our car went off the “road” so it did not count. My group and I also painted it and the car was working fine at the end. The car also looked very good, we made sure that it did not fall over I am very proud of this project.
