  1. Skin Care Tips For MonsoonbyMyGlamm Home Beauty Salon

  2. Tip 1: Your skin needs to be cleaned from all the dirt and oil that gets accumulated, especially in the monsoons. Excessive oil and dirt on your skin can lead to clogging of pores. Therefore, wash your face only with warm water at least 3 to 4 times a day.

  3. Tip 2: When your face comes in contact with the rain water, it can lead to irritation & make your skin feel itchy as it is easily prone to bacterial infections. The best remedy is to wash your face with an aloe-vera or neem face wash whenever you get drenched in the rains.

  4. Tip 3: Never avoid sunscreen, not even in the monsoons. Though it may be cloudy outside, the sun’s UV rays can still cause damage to your skin. Also when your skin is wet due to the rains, it is extremely vulnerable, thus, damages skin. Always make sure to apply a waterproof sunscreen of SPF 30 or more whenever you step out of your house in the rainy weather.

  5. Tip 4: Stepping out in the rains and having your makeup intact is not possible. The struggle is real! Therefore, we suggest, you use lightweight, waterproof makeup. Avoid using heavy foundation, and replace it with face powder.

  6. Tip 5: The humid monsoons lead to sweaty skin, due to which your skin tends to lose moisture and you start looking dull and pale. To keep your skin looking healthy throughout the season, drink at least 7-8 glasses of water throughout the day.
