  2. FFDO • Transportation Security Administration (TSA) approved the program. • TSA and Federal Air Marshals do training. • Artesia, New Mexico • 7 day program • Voluntary program

  3. Training • 4 hrs. of shooting • 2-3 hrs. of self defense • 3-4 hrs. in class room • 800 rounds discharged

  4. Duties • Defend the cockpit. • Do not lead on that you are a FFDO. • Issued .40 cal H&K pistol with hollow point bullets.

  5. Restrictions • Not a law enforcement officer • Armed only when cock pit door closed • Concealed carry through airport

  6. Currency • Every 6 months re qualify at TSA approved gun range. • Two day refresher course every five years in Atlantic City, NJ
