HISTORY
  • Since the earlycenturies B.C, the historical Silk Road, beginning fromChina via Anatolia and Mediterranean towards Europe has been the route of 8000 kmfornot only merchantsbut also the route to carry knowledge, armed forces, ideas, religious beliefsand cultural values from East to West and West to East.
slide4

In the history of theworld, the most important role of theancientSilk Road was that it established a bridge between easternand western cultures.

  • The rich civilization of the east was a sourceto develop the trade betweeneastandwest.
  • Civilizations located on the Silk Road established more profound relations with each other. Without doubt, tradebetweentheeastandthewestdeveloped; and economic activitiesandinteractions inthemodern sense occurred in this period.
  • Silk Road is revitalized in trade as well as in historical and cultural values after thereformation of borders in thelastfewdecades.
