Addressing Faculty Shortages in CNA Programs for Enhanced Healthcare Training
120 likes | 236 Views
The Northwest Regional Partnership aims to tackle the critical shortage of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) instructors in our region. Our initiative focuses on increasing the availability of qualified instructors and expanding CNA course offerings, specifically targeting the SVCC region. With projections of impending retirements and current instructors overworked, we seek to recruit four new instructors—three at SVCC and one at the local vocational center. This collaboration was initiated by regional stakeholders in April 2005, laying the foundation for sustainable healthcare workforce development.
