Senior Transcript Checks • Make sure you are on track for Graduation • Any classes need to retake? See me immediately • Options; retake class, virtual school, night school, research class
SAT test dates www.collegeboard.org *10/6, 11/3, 12/1, 1/26, 3/9, 5/4, 6/1* ACT test dates www.actstudent.org *9/8, 10/27, 12/8, 2/9, 4/13, 6/8* Registration is approximately 1 month prior to test See web sites for details.
COLLEGE APPLICATION PROCESS • Complete applications on college websites. Use your copy of your transcript for information such as GPA, class rank, and course numbers. • Request letters of recommendation only when required by the college. You must provide a resume to the person who will write the letter and allow ample time for them to write the letter, return to you, and meet the application deadline. • Requests transcripts from Ms. Pat Smithin the PHU administration building. Hard copies are $1 and you will mail. Transcripts sent electronically to Florida public colleges are free. (IMPORTANT:you must allow at least 15 school daysfor the transcript to be received.
