The government has a responsibility to create structures enabling every capable individual to earn a living through work. Work is a crucial aspect of society, serving as a primary social arena for most. This includes rehabilitation options and various pathways such as assessment, job training, and supported employment. Labour market policies and social activities fall under government and municipal responsibilities respectively. The shift towards mainstreaming disabled individuals into the workforce highlights the importance of inclusive policies. Oversight of labour policies lies with Parliament, while rule implementation is under the Minister and NAV.
