Current State of E-Learning at Wendy’s • Overview • Initiated E-Learning strategy Q3 2007 • Target Audience = Crew, Managers, Multi-Unit Operators, Corporate • Majority of E-Learning in restaurants • Use formal Learning Mgt System • Approx 50k active users (will 2x in 2010) • Developed approx 120 custom E-Learning courses in last 15 months • Use internal resources and vendor partners for design / development • Fast Facts • Avg 2250 course completions per day • Avg course duration is approx 20 min

E-Learning Challenges / Strengths 7 Internal Resources • 2008 Challenges • Mix of E-Learning development experience on internal team • Too many courses to build in too short of time to do completely internally • Spanish translation for all crew courses • Needed to identify vendor partners • Available budget would require creative approach to complete development • Project Mgt discipline lacking • Strengths • Established solid methodology • Adhered to standards and use of templates • Abundance of SMEs and existing content to leverage $$$ Limited Budget 90 courses (2x)
