  1. Membership Fees Research – Wildlife Trust I am going to research different animal organisations to research some adoption costs so I get an idea of how much I am going to charge for each membership pack. I went on the ‘Become a Member’ section of the website and it said how much it was per month. It gave me a list of what membership types and what kinds of rates it was. For example, a family membership pack would be £4 a month or £48 a year.

  2. Membership Fees Research – Animal Protection Trust It told me it was £12 a year, to become a member for ONE person. Membership Fees Research – ZSL I went onto the membership part of the ZSL website, it told me that an adult membership for 364 days of the year was £98.75. I decided to choose the adult membership costs to enter into my table so I can have a variety of results States how long the membership lasts for and how much it is, precisely.

  3. Animal Aid I went onto the ‘ANIMAL AID’ website into the ‘Membership’ section and I selected from the dropdown box which membership type I wanted. The reason I picked this membership type as a ‘Teen’ and not a ‘Child’ is because it is for those who are 16 and under and does not give an option for 12 year olds for example. I also decided to input a ‘Adult’ membership fee so I can get a variety, but I only inputted the waged one as it is the highest paid.

  4. Animal Samaritans I also found another Animal Charity and they charged £5 for a child, this counts as a ‘child’ membership fee instead of a teen as it clearly states it is for a child.

  5. Twycross Zoo I went onto the ‘Become a Member’ part of the website, I then saw there was an ‘adult’ and a ‘child’ membership, I decided to put both into my Membership Fee Research Table. This is my Membership Fees Research where every charity I found I submitted it allows me to keep my work ordered and neat and is in a easy layout.

  6. Adding the Membership Fees- Part 1 I changed the ‘WildCare Teens’ and ‘WildCare Kids’ to £15 and £10 just so it decreased steadily and decreased by £5 less than the amount before. But, in the next month I was in a lot of Deficit, I can see the ‘Net Cash Flow’ for the month was -£31,925.00 which is a small deficit but I would like the Net Cash Flow to be near enough to ‘zero’ to make sure I am making money and not losing it. This has made me realise I need to make the costs higher. By doing these numbers it left me in ‘Surplus’ for the first month as all the membership fees are coming in, etc but it gradually starts to decrease due to the salaries being taken away

  7. Adding the Membership Fees – Part 2 I changed all the Memberships to a higher price in order to try and relieve the fact most months were in deficit when I only changed the ‘WildCareKids’ and ‘WildCareTeens’ memberships. I changed the Platinum Membership from £30 to £50, and Gold from £25 to £45. I was however, in deficit for the following months, because the other data has not been inputted into the database yet, At the end of the year I was in a Surplus of 329,646.00. This however, might be a too expensive as a child and teen would not be able to afford a £35 or £30 membership so I might decrease the kids and teens membership and keep the ‘Platinum’ ‘Gold’ and ‘Silver’ membership the same. I was in Surplus for the first month.

  8. Adding the membership fees – Part 3 I changed all the Memberships to a higher price in order to try and relieve the fact I could be in deficit when I add the other values. I changed the ‘WildCareKids’ and ‘WildCareTeens’ memberships also to a more affordable price so they can pay the membership often. I was also in ‘Surplus’ for the totals which is good as I will not lose large amounts of money when I start to input data into the survey later. I am in Surplus for this month, even with deducting the ‘TOTAL OUTGOINGS’ it was still in deficit.
