Introduction Focusing on the professional competencies that build employability in a broad range of careers, including academia, this comprehensive programme guides students through all aspects of the research process – addressing common skills gaps and promoting inquiry and creativity. • Build the advanced skills that are essential to conducting effective research and support a successful transition to further study and professional life via 12 student-facing courses • Provide guidance on introducing, managing, and evaluating undergraduate research, with a focus on long-term employability, through 3 courses for teaching faculty and supervisors • Engage all learners with course content via interactive activities, including polls and quizzes, video and text-based interviews, comic strips, and animations • Encourage learners to relate course content to their own experience through real-life scenarios, ‘your context’ pods, and a downloadable learner portfolio
