  3. LPN to RN Fast Track Program • Goal: Support the TCAT’s LPN Graduates in navigating the requirements to become competitive applicants for the FT Program.

  4. Facts: • The average number of applications for the three years was 109. • Approximately 53% per year were rejected due to not meeting the requirements for admission. • Lack of pre-requisites completion • Submission of incomplete applications • Lack of score on ACE exam

  5. ACE Exam • 94 students took the ACE Exam (2017) • 59 scored less than 75 (62%) • Year of LPN Graduation • 2014-2017= 18 • 2010-2013= 12 • 2006-2009= 7 • <2005= 1 • Didn’t apply after scoring less than 75- 22

  6. Action • Offered a 5 hour ACE Review Session before each testing session • Nursing Information Sessions held each semester • Appointments made with TCAT’s • Academic Pathways were developed • Done by graduation date
