  2. The Basics Who: 18Grayslake North Students; 3 – 4 GNHS Teachers What: An experiential learning trip to China, designed to give students an cross-curricular academic learning opportunity. When: June of 2010 – exact dates will be finalized by the end of the summer. We are awaiting a summer school calendar and administration approval of dates. (Date should be finalized by Early September) • Where: Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai, and Hong Kong Why: We firmly believe in the value of study abroad experiences for students As we strive to develop, build, and prepare your students for this future… these experiences are investments that will pay off for years to come. Also, this will be our first study abroad trip run by the district as it will be tied to academic credit.
