International Business Academy (IBA) • The IBA is a four-year program that focuses on the HS core curriculum with additional academic courses emphasizing business, language, and culture. • All students in the IBA are required to take specific business elective courses each year • Students participate in numerous field trips • Natural Bridge & Caverns, Alamo, San Antonio River Walk • AT&T Job Shadow • Texas A&M Global Issues Conference and Competition • Houston Rockets Job Shadow • Dallas Market Center (10th Grade) • Federal Express • New York (11th Grade) • Various College Visits
What is the Purpose of the IBA? • The purpose of the Academy is to prepare students for higher education and the highly competitive global economy. • The graduates of the Academy will have a strong academic, business, marketing, and foreign language background.
