  27. Document Based Question “You see,” he [NattawudDaoruang] says, “Thai Buddhists believe they can get to paradise by holding on to a monk’s robe. So I became a monk for a month to help my mother get to paradise. The novice monks had to get up at 5:00 am and meditate. After that, we had free time to read comics and play games on the monks’ Play Station. In the afternoons, we walked around the village with the monks to get food and drink.”
