KEY CHALLENGES • Challenges are mainly institutional, i.e. internal to CTMM • Role of CTMM is integrated, well coordinated, multidisciplinary - it is no longer sufficient to be excellent in line functions only; work still needs to be done in ensuring that directives of other line functions. Aims: • To provide a conducive environment within which a world-class event can take place. • To build, prepare and hand over to FIFA world class facilities. • To assist in the enforcement of all world cup related agreement.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Meeting agreement conditions incl. contingency plans (all departments) • Electricity flow management for additional 40000 spectators • Various interventions incl. public transport and general mobility network upgrade. (Public Transport and Roads and Storm water) • Revision of Supply chain policy within legislative framework; Insurance and Risk management (Finance) • Ensure integrated marketing and communication approach towards the promotion of Tshwane (Communication)
