  2. How Much Will It Cost to Attend MWU? Average Annual Costs (9-Month Budget) Figures based on 2010-11 Academic Year • $48,582 for students living with parents. • $52,593 for students living on campus. • $55,917 for students living off campus. Cost of Attendance increases 5% to 7% annually.

  3. Cost of Attendance Includes educationally related expenses for student only, such as: • Tuition, Books & Supplies • Insurance • Rent & transportation • Personal Expenses Cost of Attendance does not include: • Car payments, Credit Card payments • Moving expenses • Higher-than-average rent or mortgage • Dependent Care Expenses (Exception: Daycare expenses for single students or married students with working spouses)

Federal Loans • PERKINS: (subsidized loan) • Based on eligibility of neediest students • Amounts vary from $2,500 to $3,500 • Apply before priority deadline • STAFFORD: (subsidized/unsubsidized) • Automatically awarded with FAFSA application • Annual limit $20,500 • GRAD PLUS:(Credit-based) • Covers the remainder up to cost of attendance.
