An intensive, organized fundraising initiative using a sequential process to secure philanthropic gifts (including but in addition to what is currently being raised) from individuals, foundations, and corporations, for specific and compelling purposes and projects having institutional priority, over a specified period.

Why a Campaign? • To tell a compelling story about Northeastern • To engage new audience • To create a platform and call to action to raise significant new funds for key priorities • To achieve and sustain a new plateau of giving • To build institutional advancement capacity for the long term • To be a key catalyst for the continuing transformation of Northeastern

  3. Northeastern Advantages • Widely considered to be “on the move” • Clear, explicit, and compelling institutional priorities • Strong and experienced leadership • Real world, practical orientation and culture • Global orientation • Rapidly maturing Advancement operation
