  3. What to Bring • DECA Clothes • Casual Clothes • Toiletries • Snacks • Spending Money • DECA Club T-Shirt • DECA Lapel Pins • Pencils • School Work

  4. Meals/ Spending Money • About $25 a day • No room service • Pizza Dinner Sunday evening provided by DECA • Food court at Four Seasons Mall • Two “reasonably” priced restaurants in hotel • Bring snacks for room/bus

  5. Departure • Sunday, March 3rd @ 9:00 AM • Students must be dressed to compete • Location: TBD

  6. Conference Agenda • Sunday, March 3rd • Arrive at conference around 1pm • Team events begin at 3pm • Pick-up individual event times at 5pm • Opening Session at 8pm • Dance immediately after Opening Session • Curfew at Midnight

  7. Conference Agenda • Monday, March 4th • Individual series events begin at 9am • Recognition Testing begins at 9am • Written events begin at 11am • Voting session at 1pm • Series honors session at 9:15pm • Curfew at Midnight

  8. Conference Agenda • Tuesday, March 5th • Regional Awards Session at 9am • Grand Awards Session at 12pm • ICDC Briefing at 2pm • Depart from conference around 3pm

  9. Return From Greensboro • Tuesday, March 5th at about 5pm • Location: TBD • Students will call you from the bus when we get close to Charlotte REMEMBER YOU ARE REPRESENTING AK!

Competition • 76 competitors from Ardrey Kell in 22 different events • Over 5,000 competitors from all over North Carolina competing in 46 different events • Principles of Business Events • Team Decision Making Events • Individual Series Events • Business Operations Research Events • Business Management and Entrepreneurship Events • Marketing Representative Events
