Broad-Range Metal Uptake System Mutants Enhance Cadmium Tolerance in Yeast

This study investigates the effect of mutants on Cd tolerance by comparing WT cells with mutants deleted in transporters FET4 and SMF1, and regulator ROX1. Serial dilution assays were conducted to analyze the impact of these mutations on Cd tolerance in yeast cells. For more details, refer to the 'Materials and methods' section.
