Purpose • An Individual Graduation Plan is a road map that guides students toward their education, career and employment goals. • IGPs include general graduation requirements, as well as coursework and out-of-classroom learning opportunities related to a student’s chosen cluster of study. • IGPs help students align high school courses with college entrance requirements. • These plans are flexible and can change based on a student’s aspirations, abilities and interests.

  5. GPA & Class Rank • Every course counts toward your GPA! • GPA and Rank are calculated using the weighted GPA scale • Shoot for top 6% for Palmetto Fellows (remember other qualifying criteria) • Top 30% for Life Scholarship

  7. Requirements for 4 Year Schools • In addition to SC Diploma, students planning to attend a 4-year school initially need: • Science • Biology • Chemistry • Other Lab Science (Marine Science, Human Biology, Botany/Zoology, AP Science) • Foreign Language • 2 Years of the same Language • 3 Year for Clemson & College of Charleston • Mathematics • Algebra 1 • Geometry • Algebra 2 • Math higher than Alg 2 (Pre-Cal, Discrete Math, AP Stats) • Fine Art • Art, Chorus, Drama, Instrumental • College Prep Elective • Global II, Psychology, AP World History, etc.
