Translation is a complex process that involves transferring thoughts and ideas from one language to another, according to various scholars. Brislin (1976) describes it as the transfer of thoughts in both written and oral forms. Wilss (1982) emphasizes the transformation of source language texts into target language texts, requiring an understanding of syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. Nida and Taber (1982) focus on reproducing the closest equivalent of the source message in the target language, while Newmark (1988) highlights the act of transferring meaning, encompassing both style and content.
