Wood River Region Replacement Airport EIS What is the Purpose of theEIS: • Ensure Federal government programs and actions meet the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) goals and policies. • Take a hard look at the environmental impacts of the no action, the proposed action, and reasonable alternatives.

Wood River Region Replacement Airport EIS Status of theEIS: • Scoping comment period ended January 15, 2008. • Comments were accepted through January 25, 2008. • FAA and L&B Team met in Seattle January 16th and 17th to review comments received to date. • The scope of work for Phase II of the EIS has begun to be drafted.
