  1. Customer Service Looking after your Scouts at the Jamboree

Coming to the UK • Main IST arrival day is Tuesday 24th July • Troop arrival days are Friday 27th July and Saturday 28th July (morning) • Our coaches will transfer you from your arrival point or your Home Hospitality • Equipment should be shipped ahead, in containers • We can help with invitations and Visas

  3. Arriving at the Jamboree • Our coaches will take IST and Troops to register, and then to the Jamboree site • The Sub-camp staff will greet the IST & Troops • Troops will receive camping equipment and food at their Sub-camp • The opening ceremony is on Saturday evening (28th July)

  4. Around the site • There will be 16 Troop Sub-camps, in four areas • IST and Contingent Staff will live in a separate Adult Sub-camp, near the Staff Restaurant • Contingent pavilions and offices will be in a central National Headquarters area • A central Plaza will have shops, displays and cafés • There will be four local “hubs” with a Health Clinic, a café, phones, Internet access and a shop in each • There will also be a similar Adult hub, including a bar

  5. During the Jamboree • Troops will receive daily food supplies in Sub-camps • There will be no public access to the site • Day Visitors will be allowed on eight days, but they cannot visit the Sub-camps • Contingents can have receptions and guests • There will be a hospital on site • Programme activities will run on and off-site for 9 days, including the Sunrise Day (1st August)

  6. Leaving the Jamboree • The closing ceremony is on Tuesday (7th August) • Troop departures start after the closing and need to be completed early on Thursday 9th August • IST departures will be on Thursday 9th August • Our coaches will transfer you to your departure point or to your Home Hospitality • Containers must be packed for shipping by Thursday 9th August
