2. Your project must have a Cover Page • It should have an appropriate title that you create. • It should have one color illustration that would represent Chinese inventions.

3. Choose 2 inventions/advancements • You will choose 2 inventions, discoveries, or advancements that were important for Imperial China. • If possible, explain where in China it was created or discovered.

4. If possible, tell what year or during what dynasty it was discovered. • If possible, provide who discovered or invented it. • If possible, tell how it was created or discovered.

5. Make sure you know how these were used. • Make sure you know how they helped people or impacted for people living at that time. • Make sure you can explain how it impacted the world and how it continues to do so today.

6. Illustration • For each, you will have a color illustration (picture) that is drawn, cut from a magazine, or printed from a computer. • This illustration should match your invention. In other words, it should be a picture about or of the inventions you have chosen.

7. Grading Rubric • Cover page – appropriate title and illustration – 5 points. Where, when, who, how – 5 points How it was used then – 5 points How it impacted people then – 5 points How it impacted the world and continues to do so – 5 points Illustration in color – 5 points This will apply to both inventions so the points will be doubled. The cover page will not be doubled. Total points – 55 points
