Charles Mulli • A very poor Kenyan boy living in an unloving world who grows up into a successful man devoting his life to other people • hard worker and his determination changed every aspect of his view upon life. • Astrong individual who could overcome almost any obstacle laid in his path. • No matter what he did he was capable of succeeding • Founder of the orphanage “Mully Children’s Family” • A real life demonstration of selfless love and sacrifice

  4. Summary of “Father to the Fatherless” Charles Mulli, a poor Kenyan boy was abandoned when he was six years old forcing him to live on the street. He went through many struggles but eventually found faith in Christianity that helped him fight for his life. After many years of struggle Charles experiences tremendous success. He found himself a wonderful wife, raised a family and created a thriving business in transportation.

Summarypart 2 • In spite of all his achievements he realises something is missing in his life and comes to the realisation that he must rescue homeless children like he once was. • Charles sells his business and creates the “Mully Children’s Family” (MCF), an orphanage created to give street children a home, education and safety. • With his orphanage Charles loses the rich lifestyle he earned and gains a family. His greatest success of all

Father to the Fatherless Likes Dislikes • The story is a true story about what life is really like living in Kenya • The author was very good and describing events in detail • The book was always intriguing and keeps the reader interested • Certain parts of the book were sad • It was too short

The man was diverted off the road towards a fire stricken tree. • Motorcade:A procession or parade of automobiles or other vehicles. The president arrived into town accompanied by a motorcade.

The chairman thanked the delegation on behave of the council for attending the meeting. • Heinous: To act or be hateful towards another person or thing. The man was heinous while being introduced to the mayor.

  10. Theme/Life Lesson . Every person may not be born into a life where they feel loved and safe but every child deserves a family. Every person deserves love and the opportunity to live a joyful life.

  11. Back Review • This book will challenge you to examine your priorities. It will inspire you to believe you can make a difference in the life of others’. • “Father to the Fatherless” is a very unique story that represents the negative realities facing millions of African children today.

  12. Title Change • If I changed the title of “Father to the Fatherless” I would change it too “Anything is Possible”. • I find that this would be a good title for the book because throughout Charles’ life he always believed that anything was possible.
