  2. Rationale • 200-300 words (NO more, NO less) • Explain the following in the rationale: • Text type and the title of the Magazine in which this would take place and context. Example: The written task is an interview that would be published in the magazine “O” by Oprah Winfrey. This interview is meant to explore the cultural differences and divide between today’s teenagers and teenagers from 50 – 60 years ago. • 1. How the content in the task is linked to a particular part of the course (for example we are studying Part 2 Language and Mass communication). This task is linked to the concept of advertising and the affect advertising has on the current generation compared to 50 years ago. The influence of advertising and the constant exposure to advertising not only in the United States but around the world, billboards, websites, pop-ups, magazines, etc…
