The Summer Program on Obesity, Diabetes, and Nutrition Research Training (SPORT) offers an engaging opportunity for 40 applicants, with 12 selected participants, to gain hands-on research experience in Maryland, Ohio, New York, DC, Puerto Rico, Wisconsin, Georgia, South Carolina, and Kansas. Under the mentorship of faculty including Terry Brimer and Ugur Erickson, participants will engage in a comprehensive 40-hour work week, which includes core conferences, journal clubs, and public health training. Participants must submit a written report by August 16, 2019. Acknowledge NIH/NIDDK support.
