  2. Backarydsgruppen consists of the parent company Karosseriverken I Urbanusson AB, the subsidiary companies U-Lift AB, Euro-Lans AB and Prototypcenter KVAB. The companies are located in Backaryd in the south-east corner of Sweden.

  3. Karosseriverken is specialized in building buses, mobility service vehicles and other specially equipped vehicles for commercial passenger transport. We have a long experience which goes back to 1957.

  4. U-Lift produces wheelchair lifts for minibuses, buses and trains, wheelchair ramps for low floor city buses, ramps for standard floor minibuses, as well as load lifts for light commercial vehicles. All products sold are developed and engineered by U-Lift. U-Lift is market leader in Scandinavia in its segment, with a large portion of export sales.

  5. Euro-Lans is Sweden’s largest ambulance manufacturer, building all types of vehicles, from traditional ambulance vehicles to larger vans and cutaway design ambulances. Euro-Lans also specialize in other types of vehicles, such as: Police vehicles,Fire and rescue vehicles,Emergency response vehicles,Command center vehicles,Diver response vehicles/buses, Emergency transport vehicles,Power plant service vehicles,Safety vehicles
