A very high yielding floricane from SCRI, Scotland ‘Glen Fyne’ EU PVR no. 20070474 • The Plant (tested as 9062E-1) • Moderate vigour, easy to manage • Open habit, easy to pick with spine-free canes • Crops 4 days earlier than Glen Ample with excellent yield • Has A10 resistance to the European large raspberry aphid (Amphorophora idaei) • Seasonality and Yield • Fruit Quality • Consistent conical shape with regular drupelets and excellent cohesion • Glossy, attractive ‘raspberry pink’ to red colour berries • Distinctive sweet flavour, consistent throughout the season • Shelf-life 4+ days, high percentage of Class 1 fruit • Can be mechanically-harvested Data taken from protected plots at SCRI in 2008.
