  2. Why do we have a skeleton? • We have a skeleton because it helps support the body. • If we didn’t we would just be a lump of skin, flesh and blood.

  3. These are all the different names of the bones in our bodies.

  4. There are Three types of joints… • The immovable joints – you can’t move immovable joints; it’s in the name! e.g. the skull • The slightly movable joints – you can move them a bit. E.g. the spine • Freely movable joints – You can move them easily and loads E.g. knee. • Hinge joints- can only move backwards and forwards. • Ball and socket joints – can move in all directions. • Pivot joints- allow some circular.
