the question
The Question
  • Why would anyone want to make heaven their eternal home?
  • What about heaven should cause us to have a strong desire to be there?
  • This desire must be strong enough to change the way we live our lives, so we need to know why we want to go.

because of who is there
Because of Who is There
  • What makes your physical home so special? In my case, it is not the beauty of the house, the state in which I live, or the creature comforts that are there.
  • My physical home is special first because of who is there.

  • Psalm 73:25
    • “Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.” (ESV)

This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.” (ESV)
