  2. Current webmail service offered feels out-dated. • Project to change webmail approved within the IP Services Server Team but no time frame was set. • Research / Investigation on what products are currently available. • Product chosen as a replacement to current webmail

The first stable release of Roundcube was announced in early 2008. • Roundcubeis a web-based IMAP email client written in the PHP programming language. • Roundcube'smost prominent feature is the use of Ajax technology to present a more fluid and responsive user interface than that of traditional webmail clients. • Roundcube Webmail is designed to run on standard web servers such as Apache in conjunction with a relational database engine, such as MySQL • The user interface is rendered in XHTML and CSS and is fully customizable with skins.

  5. Implementation Of New Product • Training of NOC staff. (Will need to liaise with Mr.AllanAsquez) • Produce a document / manual to be sent to all customers via email informing them of the change. (Will need to liaise with Mr.AdrianOchello) • Product launch estimated for September 2011.
