  1. Andre Russel Says 'Bubble to Bubble' Lifestyle Affecting Mental Health Swashbuckling all-rounder Andre Russell is one of the most famous T20 cricketers, and that is why he has become a first choice player for every team around the world. But in today’s times when players have to spent a long time in quarantine, he feels that is something that is affecting them a lot. He has said that like any other players he too is frustrated with all the rules and restrictions on the movement. The veteran was recently featured in the Indian Premier League and had to undergo the mandatory quarantine period to take part in the bio-bubble and now he is once again set to play in Pakistan Super League. And, along with this, he is back in quarantine again as well. “I think it’s taking a toll on myself,” Russell told Geo News. “I can’t talk for any other player or coaches or anyone that goes through this whole quarantine stuff.” Image Source: Andre Russell Instagram

  2. He continued: “But it’s definitely taken a toll on me mentally because from bubble to bubble, in a room locked in, you can’t go out for a walk, you can’t go certain places, you can’t socialize, it’s different. But at the end of the day, I’m not being ungrateful, I’m grateful that we’re still playing, we’re still doing our job,” he added. “So it’s tough for us.” However, Andre Russell has a busy schedule upcoming where he will take part in the three T20I series for West Indies and for that he again have to stay in the bio-bubble. After that, he will fly to the UAE where the rest of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will take place in September-October and for that he will be kept in mandatory isolation once again. And, like many this current situation has been affecting his mental health which has been affecting his game too as well.
