  2. Bell Work – Student Information • Please find your seat quickly and quietly. • Please complete the red paper on your desk quietly and thoughtfully. • If you think your schedule may be changing, please wait to fill out the schedule section. • Sit quietly until everyone has finished.

  3. Fabulous Flags Lab • Turn an index card into a flag to represent or symbolize you. • You will have 20 minutes to complete your flag.

  7. Classroom Policies and Procedures • What I Like/What I Don’t Like Activity • Review Packet • Class Dojo will be used to record behavioral issues in class both negative (ex. Tardies, sleeping, etc.) and positive (ex. Participation in discussions, helping your classmates, etc.)

  8. Top 5! Honors • Your flag will be displayed on the board to represent the top five test scores after each test.

  9. Who’s Hot? • Class competition for a snack day in class. • For each test, the class as a whole will receive 2 degrees for every A, and 1 degree for every B. • When your class reaches 100° on the thermometer, you get to have a day in which you can snack in class.

  10. Portfolios • Please label your dividers with the following: • Course Documents • Test Materials • Due Friday, August 16th: Design a cover sheet for your portfolio that includes the following: • Your Name • Course Name • Block Number • Some type of design/graphic/picture etc.

  11. Pre Test – Do NOT be afraid! • This is just a short test to let me know what you already know. • This will NOT be counted as a grade, but please try your best. • Please turn your paper facedown when you are finished. Shhhhhh!

  12. Textbook Inventory • Working with a partner seated near you, complete the textbook inventory. • This assignment should take you about 20 minutes.
