  2. Faculty • Staci Beavers, Ph.D., University of Nebraska-Lincoln • Dr. Beavers specializes in American Politics, teaching courses on the US Presidency, Constitutional Law, and State Politics. She is the Pre-Law Advsor for the Department. Dr. Beavers is currently teaching only half-time.

  3. Faculty • Kent Bolton, Ph.D., The Ohio State University • Dr. Bolton specializes in International Relations, teaching courses on US Foreign Policy, US National Security, and US Policy Towards Vietnam.

  4. Faculty • Vicki Golich, Ph.D., University of Southern California • Dr. Golich is currently the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Her specialty is the field of International Political Economy.

  5. Faculty • Scott Greenwood, Ph.D, University of Michigan • Dr. Greenwood specializes in Comparative Politics and International Relations, teaching courses on African Politics, Arab-Israeli Relations, Middle East Politics, and International Political Economy. He also teaches introductory American politics and research methods.

  6. Faculty • Cynthia Chavez Metoyer, Ph.D., Northern Arizona University • Dr. Metoyer is the Chair of the Department and the Coordinator of the Internship Program. She specializes in Comparative Politics teaching courses on Latin America.

  7. Faculty • Cyrus Masroori, Ph.D., University of California-Riverside • Dr. Masroori specializes in Political Theory and Comparative Politics. He is the Advisor of the Model United Nations Club. He teaches courses on Political Theory and Religion and Politics. He also teaches introductory American politics.

  8. Faculty • Stephen Nichols, Ph.D., The Ohio State University • Dr. Nichols is currently the Director of Athletics. He specializes in American Politics.

  9. Faculty • Pamela Stricker, Ph.D., University of California-Riverside • Dr. Stricker specializes in American Politics and Comparative Politics, offering courses on Public Policy, Environmental Politics, and introductory American Politics.

  10. Faculty • Peter Zwick, Ph.D. Duke University • Dr. Zwick is currently the Director of the Office of Global Affairs. He specializes in Soviet/Russian Politics. If you are interested in studying abroad, he is the man to talk to!

  13. Interested in International Affairs? • If you are a new minor is starting this Fall called “Global Studies.” It is an interdisciplinary minor including courses from Economics, Geography, History, Literature and Writing, and Political Science.
