Overview SVS Networking Groups is a leading provider for designing and deploying a network. Requirements • Efficient data transfer. • Good network system that connects different branches. • private Internet Protocol (IP) network shared by authorized users only. • Multiple video conference facilities. • Efficient Database storage System. • NDAS requires a document management solution. • Access in a secure manner.
Requirements description • NDAS law firm has a poor network that provides very low data transmission. • NDAS requires new technology i.e. Video conference which enables multiple user to communicate each other easily. • NDAS requires a document management solution that has the capability of archiving documents for up to 15 years . • NDAS law firm requires high security system as the users access the internet to communicate with different users from different branches.
NDAS RECOMENDED SOLUTIONS
Network • Providing Wireless LAN for the each building located in different states. • Dedicated server network is used instead of a peer to peer network for faster file sharing and transfer. • The SNMP agent must be available via either a Fast Ethernet, Ethernet, or ATM port. • Provides good protocols like TFTP or FTP. • The cable system uses a standard UTP cables.
Security • All electronics must have a settable password that prevents unauthorized access to the device's management capabilities. • All electronics should support multiple passwords (community strings) for each level of access (read-only, read-write). • Equipment should provide an optional management trap on locked address violation. • Equipment should support optional port disable or suspend on locked address violation.
Data Storage System • Document management solution that has the capability of archiving documents for up to 15 years.

Overcomes • It is better to use an Session Initiation protocol for the multiple video conference. • It is better to use Cat 5 cable which has three twists per inch of each twisted pair of 24 gauge copper wires within the cable.
Budget • According to the NDAS law firm requirements and for upgrading the existing network it costs $88500. • But if we add SIP and replace other things like cables and firewall it costs a bit more approximately $9860.
