  2. Game Directions The goal of the game is to be the first group to have all phases of meiosis in the correct order. To play the game you have to first attempt to answer a question in order to advance. Once your group has answered a question correctly you are able to draw a card. The cards are labeled: • Interphase • Prophase 1 • Prophase 2 • Metaphase1 • Metaphase 2 • Anaphase1 • Anaphase 2 • Telophase 1 and Cytokinesis • Telophase 2 and Cytokinesis These are the phases of meiosis. To win the game you must collect each of these cards and put them in order. There are some other rules: After answering a question correctly you have an option of either drawing a card, skipping another team, or taking another team’s card. Skipping or taking a card away from a team will help you if that team is close to having all of the phases or if you are close to having all of them as well. There are also some wild cards in the stack that tell you exactly what to do. For example: Draw again and take another team’s card. Return

Billy really wants to make a 100 on his quiz. Try to help him as much as you can by gathering each phase of meiosis and placing them in the correct order.
