  2. What is fog? • Stratus clouds are clouds which are particularly low to the ground. This is often called fog. Fog is just a low stratus cloud.

  3. Why are they grey? • Stratus clouds often carry snow or light rain. This is the reason for their grayish color.

  6. Altitude • Stratus clouds are found below 6,00 feet.

  7. Opposite of…. • Connective clouds! Stratus clouds are layered horizontally while connective clouds stretch long and tall.

  8. What are they made of? • A cloud is a large collection of very tiny droplets of water or ice crystals. The droplets are so small and light that they can float in the air. (3)
