Within the Passenger Vehicles, Passenger Cars, Utility Vehicles and

Vans increased by 3.85%, 29.91% and 2.37 respectively, during April-March 2017 over the same period last year. •The overall Commercial Vehicles segment listed a growth of 4.16% in April-March 2017 as compared to the same period last year. •Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles (M&HCVs) registered growth by 0.04% and Light Commercial Vehicles listed growth by 7.41% during April-March 2017 over the same period last year. •Three Wheelers sales witnessed decline by (-) 4.93% in April-March 2017 over the same period last year, whereas passenger Carrier sales recorded a decline by (-) 8.83% and Goods Carrier sales shown growth by 12.75% in April-March 2017 over April-March 2016. •Two Wheelers sales recorded a growth at 6.89% during April-March 2017 over April- March 2016. Within the Two Wheelers segment, Scooters, Motorcycles and Mopeds increased by 11.39%, 3.68% and 23.02% respectively in April-March 2017 over April- March 2016. The graph below clearly shows domestic market share for 2015-16 and we can compare with the changes at present to understand current trends.
