Background of HITEC - since 1999 to 2002 HITEC was created in September 1999 by the direction of CM and Haryana State Government via Principal Secretary Dr. S,Y, Quiraishi as its guiding force & Patron in Chief. The three MD’s who also become integral part to facilitate the industrial growth : HSIDC, HARTRON, and HUDA. Besides, 5 – Industrial members were inducted in this august body. HITEC acted as Advisor to CM-HR (up to December 2000). Also served to 5-CMs of Northern States i.e. Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi and UP. It created the “First IT Policies Baseline Draft in 2000” for the 5-States. The draft for Modified Portal and E-Governance was lead by HITEC, Collaborated with 6-other states CM/IT Secretary (OR,BI,KK,MP,WB,KL).
  3. HITEC guided and facilitated for Investment Centric Model for NCR by “Infra” Creation. And guided the CM - HR on IT & ITES Park concept. Singtel, BT and US-Sprint Bandwidth was feasible at Gurgaon to catalyze the growth of IT & ITES. The HITEC core members travel with CM-HR to USA, UK, Canada, Singapore, Japan in Q4’2001. Brought in 120+ SMB in HR. HITEC got registered as NGO in March 2002 on behest of Haryana Govt. The Principal Secretary, IT Secretary, MD-Hartron, MD-HSIDC, HUDA-Admn, Dir-C&TP were the first Govt. side designated patrons of HITEC. The HR State Government agreed to 3-recommendation of HITEC in Dec’2002. i)A Single Window Clearance. Creation of Single window facility in Gurgaon. ii)Creation IT & ITES Park by Private Builders. Cyber City by DLF,Unitech. Allocation of Land to builder for Cyber City, Cyber Park, IT Spaze, etc. iii)Permission to Builders for creating IT building with higher FAR ratio & Advtgs.
  4. Background of HITEC - since 2002 to 2013 Business Facilitation Task Force-Supporting as CM/State Delegates. 2002-2005,2007-2013. Resolving the Industrial Growth hurdles by Collaboration with Industrial Members till date. Facilitation/Participation of IndustriesTrade Fair–Haryana Pavilion. Internatnl+Domestic Conf. Brought in nearly 200+ SMB companies from USA,Canada,UK, Australia, AsiaPac,Chinato HR. Coordination of National and International Conferences with CMs. In synch up with PS-CMs. Guiding State Government/Central Government on Innovation & Tech road map. (PoC Setup). Industrial Membership increased from 80 in 2002to 1000+ in 2013. (Worldwide). Individual Membership increased from 50 in 2002to 5000+ in 2013. (Worldwide). Recognizing Talented CXO-Yearly Award Ceremony. Input to Hon’ble HM, PSC-IT TM & PoI. Presentations Made on Emerging Technology to: Telecom Minister, Chairman PSC-IT, CMs, etc. Facilitate better collaboration: Industries, Other bodies and State & Central Govt. Issues resoln.

The Current Year – “2014” In the leadership of our New Team lead by the Chairman - Dr. Jai Menon, Vice-Chairman – Mr. Vinod Sood, Global Lead – Mr. LalitYagnik (Singapore), Coordinators – Mr. Sunil Vadehra and Prof. Raj Kishore & Executive Team, We have following Plans for 2014: Coordination of 4-National/International Conferences with 4-CMs/PSC-IT/TM. Guiding State Government/Central Government on 2-Innovation Tech road map. Tech PoC: 1)Cam@IFFCOSquare+MonCenter 2)e-University 3)Tele-Med 4)SM-MIS 5)Web-CDP 6)LAB 7)KCC Industrial Membership to be added i.e. 100 Members for 2014. Individual Membership to be added i.e. 100 Members for 2014. Recognizing Talented CXO via Yearly Award Ceremony. Input to Hon’ble HM, PSC-IT, TM, PoI & Telco ind.B. May be we should recognize some of the Global Talented CXO as well in 2014! Presentations Made on Emerging Technology to: Telecom Minister, Chairman PSC-IT, CMs, DEIT. Facilitate better collaboration: Industries, Other bodies & State & Central Govt. Issue resolution. News Bulletin on Monthly basis. Media News Release on Monthly basis. Presentation to : (1) 4 CMs (2) PSC-IT (3) PoI (4) Telecom Min/Secy Telecom (5) E&W - USA

Persons Responsible for Liasoningwith TRAI, DoT, COAI, AUSPI, CERT, NATGrid,etc. Persons responsible for Yearly Award Ceremony in April’2014 and Sponsors.
