Oversees the Message Unit, Communications Unit and Personnel Unit.
Ensures appropriate materials are identified for EOC operations and maintained for rapid deployment.
Ensures messages are delivered between EOC staff and copies are provided to the Documentation Unit.
Provides the check-in process for EOC staff and roster.
Responsible for ensuring and maintaining the staffing of the EOC and supporting facilities for the duration of the activation.
Coordinates the acquisition and assignment of volunteers.
Identifies personnel policy issues and forwards them to Section Chief.
Ensures any alterations in personnel practices and procedures are communicated to EOC staff.
Responsible for overseeing the supplies, facilities and transportation for EOC operations and supporting field forces through the Operations Section.
Identifies additional material requirements for EOC and supporting facilities.
Oversees the purchasing and stocking of critical materials.
Ensures purchases are made consistent with emergency purchasing procedures.
Continuously monitors purchases tracking costs and critical resources.
Ensures materials are delivered and deployed.
Identifies critical expendable resources that will need restocking.
Is responsible for operations and maintenance of the EOC and supporting facilities.
Ensures maintenance support scheduling accommodates EOC operations.
Identifies other support facilities to support the EOC (i.e., Staging Areas, Mobilization Centers, etc.)
Provides transportation resources to EOC and facilities.
Manages jurisdictional fleet services.
Coordinates travel for emergency responders.
