Considerations • How will the Agency protect the health and safety of its employees? • What are the Agency’s essential functions and how will these be maintained? • How will the Agency support the Federal response to a pandemic? • How and what will the Agency communicate with its stakeholders?

  3. Health and Safety • Hand sanitizers in each branch • Janitorial changes (wiping down common areas more often) • Masks • Cancel all travel • Work from home, varied schedules, etc. • Phone Tree expanded and tested • Individual preparedness

  4. Essential Functions • Make the payments on time!

  5. Maintaining Essential Functions • Order of Succession • Transfer work to another RFC • List of responses to verifiable triggers • Animal Outbreak in North America • Human Outbreak Overseas • Human Outbreak in North America • First and Subsequent Waves of Pandemic Flu

  6. Coordination with Federal Response • Participation in KC Continuity WorkGroup, which also coordinates with State and Local communities • KC RICE 2007 • Memorandums Of Understanding with Customer Agencies
