Lord, remember David and all his self-denial. He swore an oath to the Lord, he made a vow to the Mighty One of Jacob: ‘I will not enter my house or go to my bed, I will allow no sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids, till ……….
V8 Arise, Lord, and come to your resting place, you and the ark of your might.
Construction of the Ark

God does not want the law to be exposed because it represents our sin and rebellion and only brings death and condemnation.
The judgement we deserve fell on Jesus while the blessings He deserved fell on us!!!!
Mount Zion not Mount Sinai
Zion represents grace, Sinai represents law.
David pursued the Ark of the Covenant and God called him a man after his own heart.
Pursue Jesus and make him the centrepiece of every aspect of your life just as David did.
