  4. Get a head start ELTHAM College was again successful in assisting the International students from the class of 2013 to gain their preferred tertiary options. This long standing ability to place international students into mainstream university programs has made us the college of choice for many students. International University Offers 2013 41 % of our 2013 graduating class were offered places at the prestigious University of Melbourne and University of Sydney.

Homestay Program • Partnership arrangement between ELTHAM College and Student Accommodation Services • Students met on arrival at airport • Constant liaison with homestay families and students • Students placed with supportive families • Homestays near transport and relatively close to College • Full board including meals, laundry and own room $268 per week

  16. Middle School (Years 5 - 8) • Low international student numbers • Local and international student interaction – ample time to build friendships • Personal learning advisor – regular meetings. Choice of subject modules within a given framework • Dedicated teaching teams for literacy and numeracy • Community times – enquiry based learning • Co-curricular activities, for example – Robotics, Chess, Environmental Activities

Year 9 City Campus • The Year 9 Program is located at ELTHAM’s City Campus in the Melbourne Central Business District. • The program uses the city’s unique working environment as an extended classroom and explores a range of themes. These focus on the rich history, creative design, makeup and functions of the CBD. • The program responds to the learning and social needs of adolescents in preparation for the demands of VCE study and tertiary entrance. • Students attend the City Campus for four days per week and one day at ELTHAM’s main campus for sport and language classes.

  18. Senior School (Years 10 - 12) Year 9 City Campus • ELTHAM Courses – Year 10 • VCE – Years 11 and 12 • Students are able to fast track subjects • Additional two hour language tutorial each Wednesday afternoon – no cost
