  1. TEACHERS’ IMPACT Our profession is profoundly important, but also endlessly challenging and often exhausting. Finding balances, and tapping into sources of energy and inspiration, are essential. The following ideas will help you to make life in the classroom, and beyond, run a little more smoothly, and allow you to focus on the vital task at hand.

  2. “YOU”- Balance (Plan for it) • Accept that there will always be more than you could do • Plan to take care of yourself • Prioritize, weekly and daily • Learn to say “NO” • Develop interests and relationships outside of education

  3. YOU: WELLNESS • Physical, mental, emotional • Be at your best; A Lot Depends On It

YOU • Prepare your materials the night before • Keep notes and appointments in your planner • Don’t procrastinate • Break big tasks into small steps • Allow others to help you • Get up 15 minutes earlier than necessary • Remove clutter from your life • Be open to new experiences-stretch yourself • Always have a “Plan B”
