  4. Other Washington Issues • RTs in Military Commissioned Officer Status • RTs should be included in the Therapist Category of the Public Health Service Commissioned Officer Corps • Assist HHS with Health Emergency Preparedness Program which includes RTs

  5. CHASM Coalition- drug compounding issue (Consumer Health Alliance for Safe Medication ) • Coalition that monitors the transition to CFC Free MDIs • DOT regs making use of approved portable O2 concentrators on air carriers mandatory • Participate with Tobacco Partners Coalition

  6. AARC has official representation on the AMA’s Health Care Professionals Advisory Committee to the CPT Coding Cmte. • Review, comment and offer suggestions on CPT codes
