  2. Adaptations Can you believe that an orangutans adaptations are to swing on tress with there long arms. That’s how they build strength.

  3. Habitat Orangutans live in rain forest in Borneo and Sumatra . But baby orangutans live in a orphanage because their parents were killed the orphanage is called Camp Leakey .

  4. Life span The average life span of an orangutan is 50 years old . But in the wild life they live up to 40 to 45 years old .

  5. Appearance • The appearance of an orangutan is their hair it is red and brown. They also have very long arms and faces. When there older around their mouth is black.

  6. Food • Did you know that orangutans eat leaves, fruit, and ants. They also eat flowers and tree bark.

  7. Predator An orangutans predator is a tiger and people. People want to use there fur for clothing.

  8. Nests • Orangutans have nests and on their nests are roofs to keep out rain. Orangutan baby’s live in nests for 5 to 6 years then there on there own.
