November is Lung Plush Toys cancer awareness month and happens to be the same month my daddy was hospitalized and found out about his 4th stage lung cancer. To raise awareness I wanted to share some facts/experiences about a cancer that matters greatly to me. Lung cancer is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer, but is the leading cause of cancer death in both men and women. Lung cancer kills more Americans annually than colon, breast, prostate, and liver cancers combined. Lung cancer has 3 times the mortality rate of breast or prostate cancer, yet receives around 5 times less funding than breast cancer. Thank you to all the family and friends who continue to support and pray for my dad during this time. Prayers go along way and I know that is why my daddy is still here fighting strong. "❤️
